So, tell me who you are:
I’m a guy with a job who has a wonderful family. I’m a Christian, which you’ll generally see reflected throughout my comics and writings. My hobbies include collecting board games, playing with the concept of homesteading, indulging conspiracy theories, and of course writing and drawing comics.
Why did you make this site?
I enjoy creating comics and writing, but found it hard to remain motivated without an outlet or audience. I could have jumped into a plethora of other sites, but I didn’t want to be concerned with rules.
What is your goal with comics?
If I can help to generate the slightest, almost undetectable snicker in you, then I have succeeded.
What about your goal with writing?
Unrelenting profoundness, leaving you questioning everything you thought you knew.
Can I redistribute, edit, or sell your stuff?
Just so that I hopefully never find myself standing in a back alley with a gang of lawyers in cutoff suits holding nail-studded briefcases, I placed Creative Commons Licenses at the bottom of each work. Please reference those.
Any special credits?
Enormous thank you to my wife and my brother; they’re always encouraging and largely shaped my sense of humor. Love you both.
Why did you call your site Spinning Earth Comics?
It sounded catchy and uncontroversial at the time. However, if the Earth turns out to be of a different structure than traditionally taught, then it is very controversial. But I suppose as long as there is some sense of spin, even if only metaphorically, then we are still good.
…Yeah, we’re good!
(…unless there is no Earth…)
